As most of you are already aware (or if you’re not) I’m obsessed with CrossFit! I’m one of those stereotypical people that has to talk about CrossFit with everyone..you know how that goes. Some people even think it’s a cult, which is going a little far in my book. It’s like it’s own little community and everyone watches out for each other. The community-feel is one of the main reasons why people join in the first place and continue to come long after.
I’ve never been able to go to normal gyms and get the workout that I need. I ended up wasting a lot of money because of it, so learn from my mistakes! They are so inviting and welcoming when you first set foot in the door that it keeps you wanting to come back.
Even though their is a little bit of a hefty price-tag on a monthly membership, it’s totally worth it. I’ve even had to rearrange some of my finances to be able to fit it in, so I understand if you are a little bit hesitant on joining. Lucky for you, most boxes (or gyms) offer a free introductory class to get acquainted with what it will be like so you’re not going in blind. They’re really nice so don’t be afraid to reach out!
Which also leads me into my next point! Food! My people at CrossFit have been helping me in getting my life on track in the whole healthy food thing.
I have been trying to eat healthier lately but that’s like pushing a ball up a hill. So……..I will do my best to help you in your healthy eating habits and maybe that will spur me on to do it for myself!
